Common Questions

FAQ

Answers for administrators, IT teams, and end users getting started with MentorLearn Cloud.

How do I get access to MentorLearn Cloud?
Your administrator will create your account and provide your login credentials, or your institution may use Single Sign-On so you can log in with your existing institutional credentials. Contact your simulation center administrator if you are unsure how to access your account.
Can I access the platform from home or on my phone?
Yes. MentorLearn Cloud is fully browser-based and works on any device - laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You can review training data, check curriculum progress, and access learning materials from anywhere. Physical simulator sessions require on-site access to the hardware.
What does IT need to configure?
Minimal configuration is required. Allow outbound HTTPS to *.mentorlearn.com. A guest Wi-Fi or dedicated VLAN for the simulator is the recommended setup - this isolates it from the clinical network without any further integration. No inbound connections, no domain join, no client software, and no static IP address are needed.
Is any patient data stored?
No. MentorLearn Cloud stores training performance data only - scores, session times, curriculum progress, and user account information. It does not collect or process any patient data or Protected Health Information. It is a training platform, not a clinical system.
What happens if internet connectivity is lost during a training session?
If connectivity is lost mid-session, the session is saved on the simulator. Training can continue offline. Once connectivity is restored, a manual data sync is required to upload the session data to MentorLearn Cloud.
Do we need to install anything on our hospital computers?
No. MentorLearn Cloud runs entirely in a modern web browser (Chrome or Edge). No plugin, agent, or client software needs to be installed on any hospital PC. The only physical component is the simulator hardware itself.
